32-42 Vikash Kandola removes Rahul Sethpal while U Mumba, needing two points off that last raid to at least manage a point, ends up sacrificing its raider in the left corner. A 10-POINT WIN FOR THE BULLS

32-40 Guman Singh is brought down as he goes a bit too deep into the right corner.

Ranadhir wants Bulls to deny U Mumba even a single point from this game and rightly so. All these gifts might cost these teams when playoff calculations come into play.

32-39 Guman Singh takes out Mahender Singh.

31-39 BENGALURU INFLICTS YET ANOTHER ALL OUT and the game is out of the hands of U Mumba effectively.

31-35 Pranay Rane gets a bonus for U Mumba

30-35 Rahul Sethpal tries to catch Bharat’s legs but he flies out of his clasp. U Mumba needed Surinder to attack. It does not happen. 15th raid point of the night for Bharat

30-34 Bulls return the favour, not a super tackle, but a good takedown nevertheless as Shivam, the substitute, is brought down.

30-33 U Mumba GETS THE SUPER TACKLE! Surinder has moved into the left corner and he initiates the takedown of Bharat with help from the other two men on the mat. Brave this. Ranadhir is standing by, a little shocked.

Ranadhir Sehrawat: Pass the time. Play on the do-or-die raid. The strategy seems to be to draw errors from the defense.

28-33 The left corner comes alive for the Bulls. Aman brings down Ashish with some help from his team and the crowd is ecstatic. U Mumba reviews again to try and salvage a bonus point. Replays show no such chance. REVIEW UNSUCCESSFUL. Now U Mumba loses its reviews with a little over six minutes left in the game.

28-32 Mahender blocks Guman and the big man is sent to the bench. Saurabh Nandal came in with the ankle hold before that. Advantage Bulls.

28-31 Oh what do we have here. Surinder asks for a review to get a bonus for U Mumba but Vikash has already started the next raid. The replays show a clear bonus but will Vikash’s raid stand? REVIEW SUCCESSFUL. Officials say that because this is a pursuit, the officials did not stop the raid.

27-30 Vikash Kandola drives Mohit into the lobby after a touch.

Under 10 minutes to go.

27-29 Vikash Kandola gets a bonus. A timeout is called.

27-28 Bulls are roaring and have made their way back into this game. BULLS INFLICT THE ALL OUT AND THEY NOW LEAD

26-25 U Mumba reduced to one man and it’s a solitary point’s deficit. All out coming up for U Mumba

26-24 Guman Singh has a bonus point for U Mumba.

25-24 U Mumba have lost the plot. Harender kneeling off the court while Jai Bhagwan throws in an unnecessary tackle.

25-22 Ashish is unsuccessful in a do-or-die raid. And the deficit is down to three points. The crowd is up on its feet! What a sensational comeback this. Almost Puneri Paltan-esque.

25-21 Make that four. Bharat gets a point off Mohit who is left sprawled on the mat . SUPER 10 for Bharat.

25-20 What did Surinder do here. Bharat has the bonus and a touch on Surinder, as if going for the pursuit but Bharat is right there. Silly strategy here. Actually, no strategy here. From a 13 point lead, that deficit is just 5.

25-18 Oh that looked like a few points for Guman as Mahender loses patience and goes for the tackle. Guman does not get the bonus.

24-18 Bharat has a bonus to his name. Inching closer to his super 10.

24-17 Pressure is well and truly on U Mumba and it shows as Rahul Sethpal lets the doubts creep into his solidity, allowing Vikash Kandola to pick a point off him.

24-16AND THERE IT IS. A FIVE POINT RAID TO GET STARTED. ALL OUT INFLICTED! Absolutely brilliant. Three men on the court all went in for the tackle and the tall lad that Bharat is managed to get across to the midline and get past the midline.

HALFTIME UPDATE: This first half has been all about U Mumba. Two all outs inflicted and an all-round performance from the men in orange. Bulls will need something special to make a comeback!

24-11 Bharat repeats his heroics from before as he isolates his target and picks a point. And just like that, it’s halftime.

24-10 Ashish does well to take out Saurabh Nandal. How have the Bulls allowed U Mumba to escape the all out?

23-10 Well done, Rahul Sethpal. Lovely solo tackle and he turns Vikash Kandola off court but stays on court himself.

21-10 Smart raid from Bharat as he sends Rahul Sethpal and Surinder to either side, isolating Jai Bhagwan in the centre and then landing his touch.

21-9 Bharat literally steps on Mohit’s back to make his way to safety via the lobbies.

21-8 Bulls are taking a few points here. Guman Singh is brought down for the first time tonight and it’s the Bulls captain Mahender who, with some help from Rajnesh, brings down the big man.

21-7 Bharat takes out Harendra Kumar to keep chipping away at the other end.

21-5 Vikash Kandola is sick and tired of the defense sleeping and does the hard yards himself, with a strong ankle hold on Ashish.

21-4 U Mumba is running away with this. SECOND SEALL OUT INFLICTED ON BENGALURU BULLS. Sachin Narwal is sent out of bounds by Surinder Singh and Bulls are wiped out

18-4 Guman Singh takes out Mahender Singh while Neeraj Narwal is brought down by Mohit. Guman returns to take out Aman. U Mumba has bamboozled the Bulls on home turf!

15-4 This U Mumba defense is hunting as a pack and Bharat learns that the hard way. It looked like they had gone in for Bharat so close to the midline a bit hastily but they turn him in the nick of time to deny a potential SUPER RAID. Surinder Singh will get that point to his name.

14-4 Guman Singh has a bonus point while Vikash Kandola is brought down yet again by Rahul Sethpal. Ashish takes out Rajnesh for a quick few points to added to both team’s tallies.

11-3 Neeraj has a point thanks to a handtouch on Surinder.

11-2 Bonus for U Mumba’s Ashish

10-2 Vikash Kandola is brought down by Rahul Sethpal. BENGALURU BULLS ALL OUT. What a start for U Mumba

7-2 Guman Singh got a kick on the left corner but it looks like Rajnesh was out of his line anyway and that point is given first.

6-2 Bulls get a bonus, courtesy Vikash Kandola

6-1 WHAT IS HAPPENING? Raiders are rolling in points. TWO POINT RAID for Jai Bhagwan as his swift movement across the mat helps him take out Aman and Mahender Singh! Bulls lucky not to concede a third point there

4-1 Bharat is brought down on the left corner. Bharat tries to jump over Mohit but Mohit has a hold on his foot and Rahul Sethpal assists to finish the job.

3-1 Good presence of mind from Bharat to get a touch there, taking out Harendra Kumar for a point. That revives a Bengaluru player too.

3-0 SUPER RAID FOR GUMAN SINGH. In just his second raid of the match. Employs the dubki and takes three people with him. Aman, Neeraj Narwal, Saurabh Nandal - what a loot!

0-0 Guman Singh starts with an empty raid followed by a rousing welcome for Vikash Kandola. He too however, will walk back empty-handed.

Absolutely beautiful rendition of the national anthem with the performers signing the entire anthem. Time for live action and Bulls have won the toss sending U Mumba to raid first.
